NONESCOST MERITS CSC PRIME-HRM BRONZE AWARD
NONESCOST received a PRIME-HRM Bronze Award during the PASIDUNGOG 2022, the recognition rite for exemplary government workers and agencies in Western Visayas (Region 6), in celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service anniversary on September 28, 2022, at Ann Margaret Hall, Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City. On this momentous occasion, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) acknowledged NONESCOST’s excellent performance in the human resource management system, practices, and competence in the four-core human resource management areas, namely: a) Recruitment, Selection and Placement, b) Performance Management, c) Learning and Development, d) Rewards and Recognition. The bronze award is conferred to agencies that achieved a level of maturity in the Program to Institutionalized Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). CSC believes that NONESCOST revolutionizes its HR core processes in empowering its agency and its people and in meeting the demands of its clientele.
In his response on behalf of PRIME-HRM awardees, Dr. Renante A. Egcas, the College President, underscore the following responsibilities along with the award: a) maintain the status under Level 2 and continue to improve our HRM systems to meet the indicators of the next higher level; b) comply with the ORA-OHRA and other pertinent Civil Service laws, rules and regulations, and c) partner with CSC in assisting other agencies in the development or improvement of the HRM systems.
Together with Dr. Egcas, are the Director for HRMO Prof. Lea Mae K. Calimpong, Christina B. Abong, Admin Officer IV, and Rufino P. Suyao, Chief Administrative Officer. With joy and thanksgiving in their hearts, they gladly accept the award on behalf of the women and men of NONESCOST who strive harder to achieve its institutional vision to be the leading University very soon.
A handful of awards such as CSC Pag-asa Award, Dangal ng Bayan Award, and Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award were also given to Outstanding Government Workers and Agencies from the Region. The accolade recognized an individual or group of individuals whose extraordinary performance has contributed to or directly benefited public interest, security and patrimony or has demonstrated an exemplar of ethical behavior./rcegayle
